STD series Steel sectioned towers 2 – 50 m high

Whenever your plan is to install equipment weighing up to 400 kg, your best choice should be an STD series Steel sectioned towers 2 – 50 m high.

Most frequently STD series steel towers are used in the following communication systems:

  • Remote hotspots and Last mile coverage systems;
  • Professional radio communication and paging systems;
  • Telemetry and Remote control systems;
  • TV and Radio broadcast centers;
  • Radio-Relay communication systems

STD series Towers main design features

STD series Towers are built from standard all-welded galvanized CT-S3T triangular profile sections and fixed by a rigging system based on a steel cable. Each STD Tower section is 2 meter long, which makes it possible to gain the required tower height from 2 up to 50 meters. Tower framework components and braces are made of patented serpentine Z-shaped structures (Z-bracing).

Steel towers equipage can fit an installation of at least one tier of steel guy-wires for each 6 to 9 meters of tower height. Steel section towers can be additionally equipped with a stabilization device and extra tiers of guy-wires at Customer’s request.

CT-S3T-2 tower section weight does not exceed 26 kg. Maximum payload weight is not less than 350 kg.

XL series Steel Assembled towers 30 – 100 m high

Whenever your plan is to install a support structure for placing a rather large and bulky pieces of transmit / receive equipment — Сommunication Technologies can offer you our XL Series Steel prefabricated towers as the most effective solution for your choice.

Most often XL series steel towers are used for installation of the following types of equipment:

  • Transmit antennas of radio supporting communication centers;
  • Meteorological equipment;
  • TV and Radio broadcast centers antennas;
  • Radio-Relay communication centers antennas;
  • Navigation stations antennas.

XL series tower installation is the ideal solution for shared usage scenario when GSM equipment is placed by several providers simultaneously.

Each Communication Technologies tower represents an individual project designed according to Customer's requirements. The design solution takes into account the height, area and weight of the equipment to be installed, as well as another required features.

XL series Steel galvanized towers consist of a standard set of unified prefabricated sections:

  • each section of XL series tower height — 3 m;
  • XL series tower triangular profile section’s side — 800 mm;
  • section "belts" made of circular tubes;
  • type of inter-section junction — a clutch assembly ( flange or bolt-type connection is optional);
  • a bolt-type mounting of grid-binding to tower section's "belts";
  • payload weight — from 400 kg.

S3T-S series Light steel towers 1.9 – 20 m high

S3T-S series Light steel towers by Communication Technologies are designed for installation of broadband access antennas, terrestrial TV receiving antennas and radio transmitting antennas at the required height. Also, these towers can serve as a good solution for fast deployment of antenna mast-structures for special applications.

S3T-S series:

  • Triangular profile section’s side width — 170 mm;
  • Section Height — 1.9 m;
  • Section Weight — 7.5 kg, approx.

This mass-dimensional indicators facilitate transportation and installation, which can be done both from a horizontal position with a Falling Derrick method of tilting-up a tower, and from a vertical position by using a lifting machine for sections extension. One lifting machine can be used for installation of several radio towers. Moreover, specifically for Radio Amateur applications we have developed a tower top-section equipped with a pre-drilled mounting plates for YAESU-manufactured rotators and thrust bearing.

S3T-S series tower height is 20 m max., the payload weight is up to 60 kg.

S1T series Tubular steel towers 1.9 – 20 m high

S1T series Tubular steel towers are easy-to-install and compact. They are designed for applications associated with rapid deployment of lightweight broadband access antennas.

  • Tubular tower Section — 57 mm dia. tube;
  • Section Height — 1.9 m;
  • Section Weight — 5 kg, approx.

Installation can be done from a horizontal position with a Falling Derrick method of tilting-up a tower, and from a vertical position by using a lifting machine for sections extension. One lifting machine can be used for installation of several radio towers. Radio Amateurs can purchase a tower top-section equipped with a pre-drilled mounting plates to accept YAESU-manufactured rotators and thrust bearing.

S3T-S series tower height is 20 m max., the payload weight is up to 40 kg.
