CT-A3-xx series Aluminum Crank-up towers is a unique solution in all situations where there is a need for rapid mobile deployment of radio communications HF and VHF antennas and antenna systems, wireless data and mobile communications systems, lighting, voice alerting and video surveillance systems as well as in applications for individual Customer requirements.
Tower sections are aluminum triangular-shape constructions with 200, 300, 400, 500, 600 mm side width and 3, 3.5 or 5 m length. Section’s vertical legs are made of aluminum tubing 40x3 mm. Horizontal braces are made of serpentine Z-shaped structures of 18 mm circle and 14 x 4 mm tubing.
Self-supporting Tower applications:
- Tower height — 7.5 to 22.2 m;
- Max. equipment load at 22.2 m tower height — 50 kg;
- Required deployment area — 1 m dia. circle.
Guyed-Tower applicationes:
- Tower height — 7.5 to 22.2 m;
- Number of tiers — 1 to 3;
- Max. equipment load at 23.8 m tower height — 150 kg;
- Required deployment area — 5 m to 15 m dia. circle depending on tower height and equipment load.
In stationary application, the tower is fixed to a concrete foundation with an integrated hinged base for lifting up from a horizontal position, or to a vertical T-type tilted profile.
For mobile application, either a hinged mount fixed on the ground or mount to the vehicle body is used.
All CT-A3-xx series towers are equipped with mechanical erection systems (i.e. mechanical winches) installed on the lowest section. At the Customer's discretion, the mechanical system can be replaced by an electrical one.
